UBAN completed and processed the Development Plan for this high profile commercial development located on 37-acres in the Tucson foothills at the northwest corner of Skyline Drive and Campbell Avenue. The mall consists of approximately 258,000-square feet of upscale retail shops and restaurants. The scope for this project also included the production of grading and paving plans, water plans, and private utility plans.
In addition to preservation of an existing wash on the site, the grading design incorporated naturalistic retention basins and open space areas to ensure that the development blended seamlessly with the surrounding desert landscape. A landscaped berm was incorporated into the grading scheme as well to minimize visual impacts to nearby neighbors.
