UBAN was contracted to perform civil engineering services for a Sacramento based co-location data center company, RagingWire. One of their newer facilities, known as “CA3”, is an 180,000-square foot facility. CA3 includes a 67,500-square foot data floor equipped with on-site fuel tanks, 13 generators, external cooling towers, internal chillers, a dehumidifying room and a high-voltage server room. The facility includes 100 percent uptime SLA for critical facility infrastructure, 2N+2 redundancy with an intelligent self-healing infrastructure management system, and a carrier neutral design with multiple, diverse connectivity options. The CA3 facility is a leader in energy efficiency and received designation of SSAE 16, PCI DSS, LEED Gold, and EPA ENERGY STAR certifications!
